Super High Roller Bowl XI Unfolds With Bubble Drama and Alex Foxen in Front at ARIA
Live coverage from Poker.org captures the ongoing play in the $100K buy-in Super High Roller Bowl XI at the ARIA PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, where the field has narrowed to the money stage and Alex Foxen holds the chip lead among the final five players.
The tournament reached its bubble phase when Kristen Foxen, who entered the hand with a short stack, saw her hopes end against Brandon Wilson, sending her to the rail just outside the paid positions while her husband Alex Foxen moved ahead of the pack that includes Nick Petrangelo and Adrian Mateos.
Event Setting and Structure
The Super High Roller Bowl XI takes place at the ARIA PokerGO Studio, a venue known for hosting high-stakes events that draw established professionals from around the world, and the current stage features five players still competing for the top prizes after the money bubble burst.
Observers tracking the action note that the $100,000 buy-in format attracts a select group, and the remaining lineup consists of Alex Foxen leading the counts, followed by Nick Petrangelo, Adrian Mateos along with two additional players who have secured their spots in the money.
Key Hands That Shaped the Final Table
One pivotal moment arrived when Adrian Mateos made a straight flush that beat Talal Shakerchi's nut flush, a cooler that eliminated Shakerchi from contention and shifted significant chips toward Mateos before the final five formed; the hand unfolded in a manner typical of high-stakes no-limit hold'em where premium holdings collide on coordinated boards.
Brandon Wilson's elimination of Kristen Foxen occurred when her short stack ran into his holding, and the details reported from the live stream show the hand progressing through standard betting streets until Foxen could not continue, confirming her status as the bubble player while the remaining competitors advanced into the paid positions.
Additional action reported during the day included multiple all-in confrontations that reduced the field, and those following the coverage note how the structure of the event, with its large buy-in and deep stacks early on, gave way to shorter stacks and higher pressure once the money approached.
Current Standings and Player Positions
Alex Foxen sits atop the counts heading into the next phase of play, a position that places him in control of the pace while Nick Petrangelo and Adrian Mateos remain active with stacks that allow for strategic flexibility in the five-handed format; the other two players round out the group that will determine the final payouts.
Coverage indicates that the final five will continue under the same rules until one player claims the title, and the presence of multiple past champions among the leaders adds layers to the decision-making as each hand carries substantial weight in the payout structure.
Broader Context of the Series
The Super High Roller Bowl series has run multiple editions at the ARIA location, and this eleventh iteration aligns with the pattern of events scheduled throughout the year, including periods such as October 2026 when similar high-stakes tournaments often appear on the calendar to accommodate players traveling for major series.
Those monitoring the results from the PokerGO Studio can follow updates through established channels, and the reported hands illustrate the variance inherent in the game when strong players reach critical stages with differing stack sizes.
Conclusion
The Super High Roller Bowl XI continues at the ARIA PokerGO Studio with Alex Foxen holding the lead over Nick Petrangelo, Adrian Mateos and the remaining two players after Kristen Foxen bubbled and Talal Shakerchi departed on the straight-flush cooler; live updates from Poker.org provide the ongoing details as the event moves deeper into the money rounds.
